The Ten Bells
The Ten Bells is one of London’s most historic pubs, first opened in 1666. In respect to the pub’s lengthy heritage, we first began a process of editing - what to inherit, and what to introduce. By retaining elements of the past and introducing characteristics of the present, old and new come together to create something that is timeless.
This is a reflection of The Ten Bells’ ever evolving clientele and the evolution of the area that it has inhabited for so many years. The contrast between light and dark, honesty and mystery, construction and destruction reflects the rich tapestry of heritage owned by The Ten Bells.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri peoples as sovereign custodians of the land on which I live and work. I pay respects to their elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
